was launched in March 2000, initially providing internet access to Toowoomba
and associated rural areas of south east Queensland. We've been through
a few trials as our systems and proceedures have evolved. We can now offer
superior internet access connections to more than 98% of Australia's population
for the price of a local call. Wherever the telephone infrastructure allows
we can also provide broadband services.
Agapenet is
an independant privately owned Internet Service Provider. We have forged
links with industry leading wholesale providers to ensure state of the
art technology, redundancy capabilities, and accurate, secure systems administration.
Whether it is
a dial-up connection, ADSL Broadband, webhosting, or even if you would
like your own ISP managed, we can do it! A full range of whatever you would
expect an experienced ISP to provide, we are there for you.
Now we have
always had a policy to give. Give unconditionally. Obviously, we have to
survive in this dollar driven world, but we have set up systems to give
to Ministries and other non-profit organisations, part of the fee that
their supporters pay to use our service. Of course, there are many other
worthwhile organisations out there, that do great work, but do not have
a supporter base, as such, to generate much in the way of funds by our
method, or any other means. It is our policy to help as many of those as
possible. That is what agape is. |
